Training the next day was a pain.  Instead of doing real training, Kakashi-sensei sent us out on a scavenger hunt.  He gave us each a list and told us to return to his house with them when we were done, but to knock first.  My list had bread, mozzarella cheese, ham, lettuce, tomatoes and miso.  So, I said goodbye to Neji and went out shopping.
I managed to find the miso, bread, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. Now the harder part was finding the ham.   I never really went shopping, not for meat anyway. I strolled through the crowded streets, scanning shops.  Tea Huts, vegetables, fruits, fish, practically anything except what I needed.  Eventually, I found a small shop carrying a variety of meats.  I purchased the ham and made my way to Kakashi's house.

Inside was small and crowded, so I figured the kitchen shouldn't be hard to find.  How right I was.  I walked in a few feet and found the kitchen to my left.  'Cool, first one done.' I thought to myself.  I set the bags on the counter and left.
I found Neji wandering the streets cluelessly, one bag clutched in his arm.  I laughed and walked up to him.
"Want help?" I asked from behind his shoulder.  He turned and nodded.
His list contained ramen noodles, beef, rice, onions, garlic, and celery.   He had crossed off the noodles, rice and onions.  'This will be easy.'  I thought.
First we went to a weird little shop owned by a superstitious man.  He was bound to have garlic.  Sure enough, he did. We bought some and moved on to one of the vegi shops.  Then finally to the meat show I had found.
We dropped off his bag and wandered around the village.  The sun beat down on us like we were sitting inside an oven.
"Wanna' go to my pond?" I asked.
    "Yeah." Neji replied.

I pulled off my shoes, untied my headband, then worked at the ponytail in my hair.  Neji had already removed his shirt, shoes, headband and untied his hair.  I turned around and worked on getting my shirts off.  I tossed them into the growing pile of clothing then slid off my shorts.  I was left in my bra and underwear, but I didn't mind.
I dove into the water, letting the air out of my lungs and kicking my gills into gear.  It felt nice to breathe water again.  I sunk to the bottom and waited for Neji to dive in after me.  I could see him leaning over the water as though trying to spot me.  'Good luck with that.' I thought.  Eventually, he dove in, his long, chestnut-brown hair flowing around him.  Since he couldn't breathe underwater, I decided to toy with him a bit.  Pushing off the ground, I launched myself towards him, shooting out of the water and arcing over him, then landing back in the water.  His head whipped around, trying to find me.  I wore blue for a reason, I figured he'd know that by now.  I swam silently behind the waterfall.  I sat on the floor of the cave and watched.  Neji shut his eyes for a second then reopened them.  He was using the Byakugan.
"That's cheating!" I yelled.  I saw him grin as his head turned to face mine.  "Shit."
I dove back into the water, taking a breath of air and grabbed his foot.  I pulled him under and kissed him.  He kissed back for as long as what little air he had would let him.  He began to claw at my back softly, so I let him go, then rose to the surface.  After gulping in some air, he turned and smiled at me.  I smiled back and swam slowly towards him.  One of his hands rested on my bum and the other in between my shoulder blades.  My arms wrapped around his shoulders, my fingers entwining in his hair.  I kissed him passionately, locking that little voice in my head inside a cage.  Our kiss turned into a make-out session soon enough.  I pulled away after close to three minutes of this.
    "Tenten's watching." I whispered.
"I know," he growled, "Would you like to spend the night at my house?"
"Please." I replied.  He smiled and we swam back to shore to gather our cloths and headed back to his house. Hopefully Stella wouldn't try to visit me tonight.
