"Come on boys. Pick your feet up. Tenten. Don’t scowl. It’s a bad habit to get into." I spoke to them as I watched the trees pass us by. I couldn’t focus on anything; not even Icha Icha Tactics.
"But Stella-sensei! she'll be there!" Tenten growled.
"Do I look like I’m concerned with your little game of love and hate. So, get over it, deal with, and leave me out of this battle." I spoke with indifference. I didn’t care much for Tenten; she has always reminded me of little child. I could hear Tenten, Sakura, and Naruto talking in the background; but I ignored them to listen to a far away voice. ‘I know it’s not my imagination.’ I thought. Them I put my cat hat on and let my ears spring up. I didn’t like when people screamed about my appearance and called me a monster or demon. It always made me a little afraid that they would hunt me down and skin me alive. As my ears twitched for a moment; before I knew where the voice was coming from. I threw a kunai above my target and a dark shadow appeared from the bushes. It was a lean figure; then as it walked out from the shadows; I could see it was Hayate.
"Hayate-sama? What were you doing there; trying to scare me, again? You had me worked up for a moment." I walked up to him to see if he was alright. "Hayate-sama? Is everything alright?" I asked. Then he raised his head a little and attacked me. "Hayate! Cease this foolish behavior of yours, now; before I’m forced to attack you!!" I shot at him; but he didn’t stop attacking. "Sakura, Tenten, Naruto! Go get Kakashi!! Hurry, tell him that Hayate is acting strangely. Don’t worry about me." I sent them on their way. Hayate’s attacks were sloppy and I had no trouble with dodging them. I had always been a great dancer; and I was quick on my feet. With a song in my mind and a job at hand; I knew it was going to be a long day. "Ha. This is fun! We should do this more, Hayate." I laughed as I danced around him and every attack he threw at me. ‘I wonder......’ I thought to myself.
