Three people came rushing into the clearing. The one boy that I recognized was Uzumaki, Naruto. The fool of the village, followed by two other people.
"Ah, here they come now." Kakashi said, looking at the three running towards him. He coked his head to one side. "Where's Stella?" he asked, a concerned tone in his voice.
Naruto came to a stop a few feet from Kakashi-sensei, panting. "Stella... Hayate... Attack... Need... Help..." he attempted to say.
Kakashi looked a bit concerned. "Maya." he said, my head shot towards him in attention, looking away from where they had come running through, "I was going to make you try and get this bell from me for your initiation, but instead, I want you to go and aid Stella, got it?" I nodded and was gone.
Back through the clearing I ran, this time on a mission to earn my place in squad seven. The woman named Stella was dancing around the man named Hayate. Her footwork was light and perfect, all of his attacks missing her by a foot. He, on the other hand, was sloppy and uncontrolled, as though possessed by an untrained spirit. Stella stumbled and he attacked, aiming for her throat. I had no time to think, so I dove onto his chest and bit at the pressure point on his shoulder, my pointed teeth breaking skin. I loosened the bite I held on his neck once his body went a limp. I released my teeth and sat on his gut. My hands flew as I used a few simple hand signs, then a ball of water the size of my fist appeared. Although I had my eyes shut, I heard people rushing into the area where I was sitting.
Stella sat upright, holding onto her arm. "Were you trying to kill him?!" she screamed at me.
My concentration broke and the ball of water fell onto his face. "No, but if you keep breaking my concentration, he will." I said, indicating to the bleeding wound on the top of his left shoulder. Around me, the two squads were standing, watching in awe at what I had done in those few seconds. I put together the hand signs once again and the water ball came into my hands. I held it over the wounds and shut my eyes again. The ball began to glow a bright blue, and the wound sealed itself and the blood cleared away. I got off him, walked over to Stella and forced her hand away, which was attempting to bandage her other arm. I tore off the sloppy, blood soaked bandage and performed the same jutsu on her. Obviously when I attacked Hayate, his kunai cut her arm. Once finished, I walked to Kakashi and stood in front of him.
He looked impressed. "E-excellent work, Maya. It only took you... five seconds to take him out!" He said checking his watch. "Welcome to squad seven."
